Finds from the trial trenching - August & September 2022

A nodule of flint. The white cracked exterior shows that it has been burnt, either purposely or accidentally by prehistoric people.
Fragments of animal bone recovered from one of the trial trenches.
Struck (shaped) prehistoric flints found in a pit in one of the trial trenches.
A sherd (fragment) of pottery found in a ditch on the north-eastern edge of the site.
